Jacob Jensen designed the Beogram RX2, which was produced between 1985 and 1991. This is a fully-featured radial turntable and will complement all kinds of hifi stereo systems. Perfect for those who love to dance while spinning their favorite vinyl, due to the automatic anti-skating. This prevented distortion, and together with B&O's special chassis suspension made the record player pretty darn 'dance-proof'.
It can automatically register record size and adjust speed. The lightweight tone-arm provided fine quality sound performance.
The RX2 was the last radial machine offered by Bang & Olufsen. Buyers of this record player had to choose their pickup as the player was not sold with one fitted. Any from the B&O MMC1 to the MMC5 range fits and performs well.
This player is closely related to the Beogram 5000.
