The Philips Discoverer aka the 'Space Helmet' TV, is a limited edition 14" Color TV designed in 1983 and commissioned by NASA to commemorate their 1st space shuttle launch in 1981. It's shaped as a helmet with tinted screen shield and you can watch TV with the visor up and down. It didn't came cheap at the time... In the Netherlands you had to cough up almost 1000 guilders to buy one. That's almost 500 euros. Quite alot of money 40 years ago! A perfect TV for your retro game consoles BTW...
